The concept of World Class Manufacture (WCM), extended from Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), is a management approach based on total participation for continuous improvement. It enables a plant to better meet customer needs in various aspects, including equipment maintenance, production capacity, delivery time, supply chain logistics, planning and quality maintenance, personnel management, and response speed. By adopting world-class manufacturing practices extensively, we can continuously reduce waste, improve our production and operation system, enhance overall performance, and improve manufacturing speed and safety as well as quality, ultimately attaining the WCM level.
